XVIII edition Premio Nazionale delle Arti 2024 – Comunità di Saperi

From 18 October to 15 December 2024, Catania will host the 18th edition of Premio Nazionale delle Arti (PNA), organised and staged by the Accademia di Belle Arti of Catania (ABACT).
The exhibition will be held in some of the city’s most prestigious venues, including the Teatro Massimo Bellini, the Palazzo della Cultura (former Monastery of San Placido), the Fondazione Brodbeck Arte Contemporanea and the Fondazione Puglisi Cosentino for art.

The theme of this edition, ‘Community of Knowledge’, reflects a concept of exchange and sharing of knowledge, and involved over 400 students from the State Fine Arts Academies and a Music Conservatory. These young talents participated in twelve subsections in the competition, covering different artistic disciplines.

The award ceremony will be held on 18 October at the Teatro Massimo Bellini, where the winners, chosen by two specialised juries in the field of visual arts and restoration, will be announced. The juries, appointed by the Ministry of University and Research at the suggestion of the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania, assessed the works impartially, without knowing their origin.
This edition represents an important opportunity to discover the emerging talent of students and to celebrate culture and art in all its forms.
