Vizzini Enogastronomic Presepe Vivente
Dettaglio
The picturesque old town of Vizzini becomes the stage for the Enogastronomic Presepe Vivente, an event celebrating Sicilian tradition and culture.
From 22 December 2024 to 6 January 2025, on the dates of 22-26-29 December and 1-5-6 January, visitors will be able to stroll through the historical streets, enveloped in an atmosphere of times gone by. The daily life scenes of the nativity scene come to life thanks to the costumed figurants.
The experience is enriched by the presence of typical local products, offering the opportunity to discover the authentic flavours of Sicily. This event is not only a homage to Christmas traditions, but also a tribute to the cultural legacy of Giovanni Verga, the famous verist writer, who was deeply attached to these lands.
Participating in the Vizzini Presepe Vivente means immersing oneself in a journey through history, flavours and tradition, in a scenic setting that excites and tells of the authentic Sicilian soul.
For more details and bookings, visit the Nativity scene’s Facebook page.
