“Una stella sorgerà” – Presepe Vivente in Montagnareale

Presepe Vivente of Montagnareale, now in its second edition, will animate the village’s evocative historical centre on 28 and 29 December 2024. The event, entitled ‘Una stella sorgerà’, offers an immersive experience that evokes the magic of Christmas night, taking visitors back in time.

The narrow streets of the village will be transformed into a living stage, where scenes from the Nativity will come to life amidst historical settings, traditional costumes and Christmas music. Along the route, visitors will be able to observe the reconstruction of ancient crafts, shepherds intent on their daily activities, artisans at work and the evocative procession of the Three Kings, guided by the light of the comet.

Thanks to the participation of the entire community, the nativity scene faithfully recreates the atmosphere of a village two thousand years ago, combining tradition and innovation to offer an exciting and engaging experience. 

This event is an opportunity to rediscover the area’s cultural roots and experience an authentic Christmas, immersed in a context rich in history and spirituality.
