The Orestiadi of Gibellina

On Friday 22 March at 6 pm at the Vittorio Emanuele Theatre in Messina, the exhibition “Le Orestiadi di Gibellina” curated by Enzo Fiammetta will be inaugurated.
On show – among other works – will be the maquette of the Salt Mountain and the sketches made by Mimmo Paladino for “The Bride of Messina” directed by Elio De Capitani, presented at Burri’s Cretto in the summer of 1990, one of the costumes for “The Passion of Cleopatra”, the model of the “Oreste’s chariot”, the maquette of the set design of Villa Eumenidi by Arnaldo Pomodoro, the sketches for the city of Thebes by Pietro Consagra. The exhibition will be accompanied by the music composed by Giovanna Marini for Thierry Salmon’s “Le Troiane” in 1988 in order to better express the close connection between artistic languages.
