The Nativity Scenes of Caltagirone

Dettaglio

Experience a Christmas of enchantment and tradition with ‘I Presepi di Caltagirone, an event celebrating the magic of the festive season in the heart of Sicily.

From 1 December to 7 January, the city, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is transformed into an enchanted scenario, where artistic nativity scenes, crafted with the mastery of local ceramics, tell stories of faith and culture. A journey through art and creativity that will lead you to discover the timeless beauty of Caltagirone, among illuminated alleys, itinerant exhibitions, and activities designed for young and old.

Let yourself be surprised by Santa’s House, the House of Honey, and the Ceramic Workshop, where the ancient craft tradition takes centre stage. Every corner of the city offers a unique experience, a journey through history, charm and
art that will make your Christmas special and unforgettable.

We are waiting for you to experience the magic of nativity scenes together and immerse yourself in the authentic Christmas spirit.
