Radice pura Garden Festival

The Radicepura Garden Festival, the first international event dedicated to garden design and architecture of the Mediterranean landscape which involves great landscaping protagonists, artist and architects, young designers, researchers, institutions, companies. The heart of the Festival is the celebration of the garden, not only in its aesthetic-cultural value, but also for its role as an ideal place to stop your eyes on the beauties, in this case, of the Sicilian Region.

The Festival is biennial and takes place for 6 months inside the Radicepura botanical park: 5 hectares of land, nestled between Etna and the Ionian Sea, with 3000 species of plants for a total of 7000 varieties. A real living archive of experimentation and training.

Now in its fourth edition, the Festival is organized by the Radicepura Foundation with the aim of enhancing nature, as an engine of development for the whole world, through initiatives, events and cultural languages: from music to artistic installations, from botany to food and wine tours.

Until 3 December, in the Radicepura botanical park it will be possible to visit 15 gardens and 4 installations.

The theme of this edition, proposed by the Artistic Director Antonio Perazzi, is THE GARDEN OF PLANTS.
