In the heart of the Madonite village of Pollina, the excitement of the Presepe Vivente returns, an experience that combines art, history and tradition. The event will take place on 26, 27, 28 and 29 December 2024, from 15:30 to 20:00.
This evocative route offers visitors a real journey into the past, where every detail is designed to engage all the senses. The aromas of freshly baked bread and cinnamon, the vivid colours of the representations and the authentic flavours of the tastings (fried bread, pane cunzato, hot wine, hot ricotta and manna beer) will turn the visit into an unforgettable experience.
The event, realised thanks to the efforts of the local community, faithfully recreates scenes from everyday life in the past. Figurants in costume, craftsmen at work and characteristic corners of the village will bring the history and culture of Pollina to life.
