Bella di Notte – The Botanical Garden is revealed in the evening
Dettaglio
On Saturday 23 November 2024, the Botanical Garden of Catania opens its doors in the evening for a unique experience: ‘Bella di Notte’, the evening guided tours organised by Officine Culturali.
This appointment, to be held at 19: 00 and 21:00, offers the opportunity to explore the scientific garden of the University of Catania in a special way, immersed in the evocative atmosphere of the night.
During the tour, accompanied by expert guides, visitors will discover plants, trees and flowers from all over the world, in an environment where colours and scents come to life under the evening lights. Founded in 1858 by Francesco Tornabene, the Botanical Garden is today one of the most important places for scientific research, and during the visit you will retrace its fascinating history, with a special focus on the role that the University of Catania’s green museum has played in the field of botany and research.
The experience represents a journey between nature and science, which will enrich the knowledge of this extraordinary botanical heritage.
To participate, reservations are required by purchasing the ticket online
Please note that the meeting point is Via Etnea, 397, 15 minutes before the start of the guided tour.
