International Week of Sacred Music

From 11 to 19 October 2024, the Cathedral of Monreale will host the 66th edition of the Sacred Music Week, a prestigious event organised by the Fondazione Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana in collaboration with the Teatro Massimo and the ‘Alessandro Scarlatti’ Conservatory of Palermo. The event, realised with the support of the Sicilian Region – Department of Tourism, Sport and Entertainment, offers a rich programme of concerts dedicated to the theme of sacred song.

The review is distinguished by the participation of internationally renowned artists and a repertoire spanning centuries of musical tradition. All concerts, to be held at 9 pm, will be free admission and will take place in the evocative setting of the Cathedral of Monreale, one of the most important monuments of the Sicilian artistic heritage.
