Edition n. 40 for Taormina Art, one of the most important events of the Sicilian summer. The Festival, which has been taking place since 1983 in Taormina, in the splendid setting of the Ancient Theater, stages a program full of prestigious musical, theatrical, dance and cinema events with the Taormina Film Fest which opens the season.
The fortieth edition will be an opportunity to retrace the exciting summer seasons of the past which saw, on the imposing stage of the Ancient Theater, the alternation of great names in the show business, international artists and some of the greatest conductors such as Giuseppe Sinopoli, Zubin Mehta, Lorin Maazel, Leonard Bernstein, Riccardo Muti, Wolfang Sawallish.
